There is no definitive list of what game sold the best in 2015, which include online sales, in-system OS sales and physical retail sales. But we can get a pretty good idea based on the below information.

The Best selling game on Steam on release day in 2015 was Grand Theft Auto V with 3,572,564 purchases on April 3 2015. Which coincidentally is also the best selling game of all time with $800 million on it’s first day back in September 2013, going on to cross $1 Billion in just three days.


Meanwhile on Amazon Fallout 4 and Call of Duty Black Ops were the best selling games of 2015.


Playstation 4 was also the best selling console of 2015. By November 2015, Sony had sold over 30 million PS4 units worldwide. With Microsoft selling about 18.1 Million Xbox One Units and the Nintendo 3DS having shipped 56.6 million worldwide according to
